About Shay Eveland

I am a Storywork Coach, and Spiritual Director who sits with people carrying real stories–trauma, transition, heartbreak, resilience, and all of the complicated places in between. My work is slow, honest, and deeply relational. I help you listen to the parts of your story that have been asking for attention, kindness, and care.

I am certified in Narrative-Focused Trauma Care through the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, and in Spiritual Direction through Moody Bible College. But more than anything, my work is shaped by years of inner work and the commitment to creating spaces where people feel safe, honored, and deeply human.

I'm not here for perfection or performance.

I'm here for truth.

For tenderness.

For the moment, someone finally feels seen.

I walk with people as they name the realities of their stories and begin moving toward something steadier, kinder, and more grounded than what they have carried alone.

I offer one-on-one coaching, spiritual direction, reflective workbooks, groups, and retreats, for people who want thoughtful, trauma-informed support as they move toward lives marked by clarity, compassion, and hope.

If you are here, you are already doing the brave work.

You don't have to do it alone. I'm honored to walk with you.
