Frequently asked questions.

What is Storywork?

Storywork is a trauma-informed approach to exploring the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped your life. It creates space to understand your story with kindness, curiosity, and truth.

How is Storywork different from therapy?

Storywork is reflective, relational, and meaning making, but it is not clinical therapy. I do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders. Story work focuses on narrative, attachment, and the emotional themes that shape your life. Many people find it compliments therapy beautifully.

What happens in a Storywork or Spiritual Direction session?

We slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and listen for the truth your story is trying to tell. Sessions include reflection, grounding practices, gentle curiosity, and atonement to your inner world.

Do you work with trauma?

Yes. My work is trauma–informed, shaped by Narrative-Focused, Trauma Care (Dr. Dan Allender, The Seattle School) and years of experience with clients carrying complex stories. While this is not therapy, it is deeply supportive for people healing from trauma, betrayal, attachment wounds, or long seasons of overwhelm.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes. You can request a free 20-minute consultation to see if this work is a good fit for you.

How do I book a session?

After reaching out through my Connect page, I will send you a private link to schedule online or in-person. I intentionally keep booking simple and personal.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions canceled with less than 24-hours notice will be charged the full session fee.

Do you offer faith based sessions?

Yes, I am also trained in Spiritual Direction. We will tailor your sessions to meet your needs.
